The OHL "Big Ticket" night is a league-wide endeavour, facilitated in conjunction with Special Olympics and the Ontario Law Enforcement Torch Run and is operated under the guidance and control of the Ontario Association of Chiefs of Police.

Special Olympics is a charitable organization dedicated to promoting a more active and better quality of life for people who have an intellectual disability, through their involvement of sport.

The Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds will be part of the "Big Ticket" fundraiser on Wednesday, March 14 when the Greyhounds host the Saginaw Spirit at the Essar Centre at 7 p.m.

During the game, members of local area Law Enforcement Agencies will be collecting donations to raise funds for the Special Olympics.

Special Olympics Ontario and the OHL are proud to continue their partnership that will raise funds and awareness for the Special Olympics Ontario 2019 Winter Provincial Games being hosted locally in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario Jan. 31 - Feb. 3, 2019.

Come on out and help fill those buckets! It is a time to celebrate the abilities of those in our communities who live with intellectual disabilities and encourage the spirit of inclusion that the movement of Special Olympics is built on.
