Heads up for new traffic signals in Sault, Michigan

Three new traffic signals on I-75 ramps and the I-75 Business Spur (I-75 BS) in Sault Ste. Marie will be in in full operation with green, amber, and red phases for all directions beginning Apr. 20.

New traffic signals have been installed at the entrance to the Meijer store on Three Mile Road/ I-75 BS, and at the northbound and southbound ramps from I-75 to I-75 BS. Drivers in the area need to be aware of this upcoming traffic change.

The signals are currently turned on in flashing mode, with flashing amber lights for Three Mile Road/I-75 BS traffic and flashing red for traffic on the side streets and ramps.

On Apr. 20, the lights will be in full operation with green, amber, and red phases for all directions.
