Guy goes to jail with a buttload of drugs

On July 23, 2016 police were called to the Algoma Treatment and Remand Center after a 49-year-old male who had been remanded to the jail was found to have concealed a large quantity of narcotics within his body.

Staff at the institution found the accused in possession of 501 oxycodone pills, 5 Diazepam pill, 14 morphine capsules and 0.6 grams of heroin.

Officers from the Drug Enforcement Unit attended at the institution and the accused has been charged with six counts of possession of a controlled drug for the purpose of trafficking.

The accused is scheduled to appear in bail court at a later date.
