SooToday meteorologist Jerry Shields says rain is expected this morning, but only for a few hours.
A little more rain than originally thought is expected, with 10-20mm now possible. This added weight into existing snow cover could add significant weight to load bearing structures.
Some sunshine will arrive today after the rain and clouds move out of the region. Temperatures will climb well above freezing to near +6C.
