French Catholic board distributing more than 14K rapid tests to staff, students

On Friday, January 14, staff members gathered in the gymnasium of Ecole secondaire du Sacré-Coeur (Sudbury) to prepare the distribution of no less than 14,040 rapid antigen tests to for elementary and secondary school students and staff

Twenty-two Conseil scolaire catholique Nouvelon staff members gathered in the École secondaire du Sacré-Coeur gym in Sudbury on Friday to prepare the distribution of 14,040 rapid COVID-19 tests to the board’s students and staff.

All students and school staff members will receive two of the tests, said the school board.

Boxes for schools located in the Algoma district (Hornepayne, Dubreuilville, Wawa, Chapleau, Sault Ste. Marie, Blind River, Spanish, Elliot Lake) and Espanola were to be delivered Saturday and Sunday.

On Monday, rapid antigen tests will be delivered to schools located in Greater Sudbury and Sudbury East.
