Frank receives additional charge for possession of stolen property

Yesterday afternoon officers from the Crime Suppression Unit attended at the Algoma Treatment and Remand Centre and charged 49-year-old Frank Caicco of Cooper Street with an additional count of possession of stolen property.

Officers from the Crime Suppression Unit had executed a search warrant at his residence on the 12th of March.

Further investigation involving seized property determined that the accused had a cell phone in his possession that had been taken from a break and enter to a residence on Moss Road in February.

He will appear in bail court this morning.

Earlier Release: March 13
 
On March 10, 2014 Frank Caicco, age 49 of Copper St., pawned two stolen helmets at PST Pawn Brokers.
 
Police learned the helmets were stolen from a residence on Fourth Line E.
 
Police Officers executed a search warrant at his residence and located pepper spray.
 
Caicco was arrested and charged with Possession of Property obtained by Crime, two counts of Breach of Probation and Possession of a Prohibited Weapon.
 
He will appear in court on March 13.
