ROTARY CLUB OF SAULT STE MARIE

Students from the Algoma region will be putting their most scientific foot forward at the 30th Annual Rotary Algoma Science Fair presented by Tenaris on Mar. 30 – Apr. 1 at the Algoma University George Leach Centre.

This year’s fair will feature everything from “Powered by Mud: Microbial Fuel Cells” to “Dealing with Diabetes: The Process of Developing an Artificial Pancreas” to  “The Effect of Concentration of Potassium Citrate on Percent Mass Change of Synthetic Kidney Stones”.

Please join us by visiting the exhibit area on Friday, Mar. 31 from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. and again on Saturday, Apr. 1 from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m., followed by the awards ceremony.

Students will compete for top prizes and an opportunity to represent their school and the Algoma region as a part of Youth Science Ontario, at the Canada Wide Science Fair in Regina, Saskatchewan from May 14 – 20, where they will compete with students from across the Country.
