Forum to address opioid crisis takes place tomorrow

SAVE OUR YOUNG ADULTS FROM DRUG ABUSE

Responding To The Overdose Crisis Family Matters Too Forum S.O.Y.A. (Save Our Young Adults From Drug Abuse), and our wonderful sponsor, O’Sullivan Funeral Home, will once again be hosting Family Matters Too Forum, addressing the opioid crisis in Sault Ste Marie.

During this forum, local residents will openly discuss why they began using drugs, what roadblocks and problems they encountered trying to recover and how they are working at maintaining sobriety.

Harm reduction will also be discussed, hoping to discover strategies that can be developed to keep our loved ones safe.

The event will be held on Sunday May 5, 2019 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Grand Gardens at 68 Dennis St. Local guest speakers from area service agencies will be present.
