Five-month detour coming for Steelton/Second Line bus routes

The City’s Transit Services would like to advise residents of the following bus route detours.

Due to a temporary road closure on John Street (south of the train tracks) the Steelton/Second Line inbound and outbound bus routes will detour from their regular routes for approximately five months beginning Tuesday, May 28, 2019.

The outbound Steelton/Second Line to SAH will change as follows:

• From John Street
• Left on Cathcart Street
• Right on Huron Street
• Right on St. Andrews Terrace
• Left on John Street
• Resume regular route

The inbound Steelton/Second Line to Terminal will change as follows:

• From John Street
• Right on St. Andrews Terrace
• Left on Huron Street
• Left on Cathcart Street
• Right on John Street
• Resume regular route

Transit Services thanks the public for their patience and understanding during this temporary detour. Regular service will resume as soon as possible following the necessary road work.
