Five fender-benders in the city

NEWS RELEASE

******************** City Police investigated five motor vehicle collisions yesterday.

In one incident, 44-year-old John Valenti of 367 Elizabeth Street was travelling southbound on Pine Street.

51-year-old Ronald Darou of 157 Willow Avenue was pulling out of a driveway at 701 Pine Street making a left-hand turn.

Ronald Darou who was driving a 96 Chevrolet Luminous struck a 2005 Toyota driven by John Valenti.

Ronald Darou has been charged with one count of fail to yield from driveway under the Highway Traffic Act of Ontario.
