No new wildfires have been confirmed as of this afternoon, the Ministry of Northern Development, Mines, Natural Resources and Forestry said in a release today.
Currently, Timmins 11, located three kilometres east of Kenogamassi Lake and six kilometres west of Latimer Lake, remains active at 4.5 hectres. The fire is not considered to be under control.
The current fire hazard is moderate to high across the region. Pembroke, Timmins, Cochrane, and Hearst are showing a high fire hazard.
