Fire Services close off Bud Robinson Motorsports after early morning fire (5 photos)

No fatalities, injuries; cause unknown, Ontario Fire Marshal to investigate

Sault Fire Services vehicles and yellow tape surrounded Bud Robinson Motorsports at 674 Great Northern Road Thursday after a fire broke out in the building’s second floor apartment space in the early morning hours.

Sault Fire Services were not immediately available for comment, but Scott Livingstone, Bud Robinson Motorsports sales consultant, told SooToday there were no fatalities or injuries, the cause of the fire unknown, expecting the arrival of an Ontario Fire Marshal official.

“They put the fire out and all the water poured into the showroom. We’re not allowed on the property right now. It’s in complete lockdown,” Livingstone said.

Livingstone said Bud Robinson Motorsports is temporarily closed until further notice.
