Fire crews, police respond to overnight fire at Home Siding

Sault Fire Services were called to Home Siding Shop Inc. on the corner of Korah Road and Woodcroft Avenue for reports of a fire shortly after midnight on Monday.

At the scene, it appeared some materials sitting atop a shipping container on the property of Home Siding had caught fire.

Light smoke was dissipating from the container's surroundings when SooToday arrived to the scene around 20 minutes after fire crews first got there.

Sault Police also responded to the incident and monitored the situation. One officer was taking pictures of the area.

The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
