Effective at noon, on Aug. 10, 2018, the MNR imposed restricted fire zone, inclusive of the municipality of Sault Ste. Marie, has been lifted.

Sault Fire Services would like to remind all citizens to burn with caution and follow the provisions of the Open-Air Burning for the Municipality of Sault Ste. Marie. Only those with a valid fire permit will be allowed to burn.
