Fatal accident in Hornepayne

OPP NEWS RELEASE

********************* The Ontario Provincial Police are investigating a fatal, single motor vehicle collision which occurred on Becker Road, Hornepayne.

At approximately 1:30 p.m., October 18th, 2004, a 1986 Chevrolet pickup truck was travelling Westbound on Becker Road when it entered the North ditch.

The driver and lone occupant, Robert VERINNO (39 years) of Hornepayne was thrown from the vehicle, resulting in his death.

A post mortem is scheduled for today in Sault Ste. Marie.
