A large, extended family and many friends are waking up this morning to the reality that one of their own is no longer with them.
An ATV collision claimed the life of 62-year-old Kenneth Aubin on Friday morning.
He was out for a traditional, annual bird hunt, one his sister says means a lot to him.
"I guess, if it had to happen, it was better that it was while he was doing something he loved," Joanne Marshall shared with SooToday on Friday afternoon.
Marshall described her brother as an avid outdoors person with a passion for hunting and fishing.
"He enjoyed the outdoors," she said. "This bird hunting (trip) was very important to him and everyone he was up there with."
More details about arrangements for Aubin will be released when they become available.
