Families go sliding, ringette rings go flying at Bon Soo

The Canal District was the spot to be for bum slide goers, while local ringette players hit the ice for some 3-on-3 action at The Rink

The Canal District is a popular spot this weekend as dozens of families are enjoying the festivities and activities on Day 2 of the Bon Soo Winter Carnival.

The carnival’s iconic bum slides, located next to the Machine Shop, are once again a hit this year as the cold and snowy conditions on Saturday have made it a perfect day for sliding.

And just a short walk away, the Sault Icehawks laced up their skates for some 3-on-3 ringette action at The Rink.

SooToday will have more event coverage of the 60th annual Bon Soo Winter Carnival throughout the weekend.
