Erratic driving during Canada Day festivities, Robert arrested

On July 1, 2014 at about 8:30 p.m., city police responded to a call from pedestrians in the area of St Mary’s River Drive.

It was reported that a vehicle was being driven erratically by doing donuts in the parking lot by the Delta Hotel.

In the process, the suspect had struck another vehicle that was parked.

There were numerous cars and people in the area for the Canada Day fireworks and festivities.

Charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle, consuming over the legal limit and dangerous operation of a motor vehicle is Robert Bailey (age 26) of Danby Road.

He will be appearing in court on August 11, 2014 at 9 a.m.
