Mearow, one of three men convicted of manslaughter in the death of Wesley Hallam seven years ago, was released from jail in December after serving his sentence.
At the request of duty counsel David Manuel, Mearow's matter was adjourned until Friday and Justice of the Peace Paula Nichols imposed a publication ban. Assistant Crown attorney Karen Pritchard filed new information outlining the charges that have been laid against Mearow.
He is charged with 12 counts of possession of a weapon or ammunition while prohibited, as well as single counts of possession of a loaded, restricted firearm, careless storage of a firearm, careless storage of ammunition, breach of a recognizance for possession of a weapon and two counts of a breach of an undertaking.
Mearow also faces charges of possession of a prohibited weapon (a flick knife) and brass knuckles and two further counts of careless storage.
City police arrested three men and three women Thursday after executing a search warrant at a residence in the 200 block of Simpson Street.
During their search, officers located a loaded, stolen semi-automatic .22 calibre handgun, which had one live round in the chamber and nine additional rounds in the magazine.
They also discovered more rounds of .22 calibre ammunition and a small amount of fentanyl.
All of those arrested face numerous charges.
Tricia Robinson, 30, also was in bail court Monday morning and her case was put over until Tuesday.
The other accused — Allen Agawa, 27, Brianna Howard, 29, Shaun Mearow, 36, and Rebecca Stevens, 30 — were slated to appear in bail court this afternoon.
