**************************************************************** Re: Emegency warming reception centre for victims of power outage

In consideration of the recent announcement from the Public Utilities Commission regarding the extended power outage at the Pointe Des Chenes, Pointe Louise area, residents of that area or any other area still without power, unless they have a safe alternative heat source, are requested to take shelter with friends or relatives until the power has been restored.

Because the number of homes without power in this extreme west portion of the City, the Red Cross has been requested to establish a warming centre at the Prince Township Hall located on Second Line West for those who are unable to make other arrangements.

Emergency staff will continue to monitor the situation until the power is restored.
