NEWS RELEASE
ELITE DANCE FORCE
*************************
Elite Dance Force is excited to announce that we are again teaming up with the National Ballet School of Canada for a new program - Baycrest NBS Sharing Dance with Seniors.

This program was developed by Baycrest and Canada's National Ballet School (NBS). Sharing Dance with Seniors is a safe and accessible dance program that engages older adults in meaningful dance activity that benefits physical, cognitive and overall health. Dance may also be emotionally and socially beneficial for older adults by helping reduce isolation, and by encouraging a sense of community and providing a space for creativity and artistic expression.

We are pleased to be hosting an information session about the innovative video streamed dance class designed for seniors of all dancing abilities on Wednesday, Aug. 14 at 1:30 pm at Elite Dance Force located at 477 Queen Street East in the Queenscentre Building.

Anyone can join us to learn more and dance with us in a one-off live demo class from a professional dance teacher from Canada’s National Ballet School. Learn about how you can get dancing and even contribute to research activities! Refreshments will be provided and there will be an opportunity to ask questions and meet the representatives from NBS.

This class is for you if:

  • You want to exercise, socialize and have fun
  • You enjoy moving to beautiful music!
  • You like to learn about different styles of dance!
