Ed Tyreman, a driver with 7500 Taxi, may think twice in the future about making fun of Friday the 13th.

Shortly after 7 a.m. this morning, Tyreman was directed to pick up a passenger at 13 Ross Street in the Sault.

He radioed back to his dispatcher, joking that it was Friday the 13th and bragging that he isn't superstitious and wasn't the least bit concerned about the call.

A few minutes later, Tyreman was back on the radio to meekly report he had, er, a flat tire.

And the aptly named Tyreman's bad luck may not be over.

SooToday News has learned that when 7500 fleet mechanic Stan Wells showed up at the scene to fix Tyreman's flat, he was driving, er, Cab Number 13.
