Students shoveled as part of physical education lesson, learning safe snow shoveling techniques

Earlier this week, École Notre-Dame-du-Sault students got some physical activity by shoveling snow after the recent snow storm, Conseil scolaire catholique Nouvelon said in a news release issued today. 

Madame Natalie Sprague led this activity virtually with students as part of their physical education lesson and shared with them safe snow shoveling techniques.

Earlier this week, the inhabitants of Sault Ste. Marie were hit by a snow storm.

While many families struggled with this tasks, parents of École Notre-Dame-du-Sault were very pleased that this physical activity was integrated into the students’ learning during the ongoing virtual learning from home.

Madame Natalie Sprague led this activity virtually with students as part of their physical education lesson and shared with them safe snow shoveling techniques.

Ensuring that students remain active, benefit from fresh air and help parents deal with snow removal can be done virtually.
