SAULT STE MARIE, MI – U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Office of Field Operations (OFO) today announced the closure of the Drummond Island reporting station for the 2017 winter snowmobile season.

Quickly deteriorating ice conditions have closed the ice bridge earlier than expected and CBP’s Office of Field Operations out of Sault Ste. Marie, MI has ended scheduled service immediately.

A complete list of authorized ports of entry can be found at www.cbp.gov.
