Four new directors have been elected to the board of Sault Ste. Marie's Downtown Association.

City council is expected to approve the appointments of Marnie Stone, Jacob Rendell, Stephanie Harmon and Michael McAdams, who will start their terms in January.

Also returning for another term as directors are Nicholas Rosset, Paul Scornaienchi, Kristi Cistaro and Angela Romano.

One city council representative is still to be determined.

The Downtown Association is a business improvement area comprised of business people, commercial property owners and tenants on Queen Street from Dennis to Pim.

With financial support from its members and the City of Sault Ste. Marie, it organizes and carries out physical improvements and promotes economic development.
