Talks between the Ontario Health Ministry and local officials about the Soo's doctor shortage continue on Thursday.

Assistant deputy minister of health David McCutcheon will meet Thursday afternoon with emergency department physicians, representatives of Sault Area Hospitals, the Group Health Centre, and the local chapter of the Ontario Medical Association.

The meeting is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. at the hospital.

SooToday.com has learned that the TV Ontario program Studio 2 will be in town over the weekend to prepare a broadcast about physician shortages.
