SooToday is once again partnering with our friends at Mio's Furniture Fashions for a monthly ticket give away to the Best Seats in the House for a prime view as the Soo Greyhounds take the ice! This month, we would like to highlight the kid heroes in our community.

If you know a local youngster who is a dedicated community member, hardworking student, has overcome obstacles, or is doing something special that should be recognized, let us know by filling out this quick form

We will be choosing four kids from the nominations to send to the Best Seats in the House.

The lucky recipients will enjoy a Soo Greyhounds game in style, seated in two leather La-Z-Boy recliners from Mio's Furniture Fashions, with a perfect view of the on-ice action.

One nominee will be selected for each of the following games: Oct. 12, Oct. 14, Oct. 19, and Oct. 31.

Nominate someone today to give them a game night to remember. Nominations close end of day on Tuesday, Oct. 9.

Our Best Seats in the House local heroes for September were Dave and Cathy Wray (pictured above). The community-minded pair have given back to our community their entire lives. They have run a local daycare for many years, and left a meaningful impact on countless children's lives in our community. Dave recently obtained his license to drive a school bus, and looks forward to continuing to enrich the lives of young people in our area. They were nominated by a young woman who had her life changed by the Wrays, and wished to see them enjoy a fun night out, something that is much deserved for the caring couple.
