David Orazietti does something

(EDITOR'S NOTE: Every time SooToday.com publishes the attached image of Sault MPP David Orazietti, people complain in our News Response forum about his head being too big. We regret that we exert no control over the size of Mr. Orazietti's cranium.

(EDITOR'S NOTE: Every time SooToday.com publishes the attached image of Sault MPP David Orazietti, people complain in our News Response forum about his head being too big. We regret that we exert no control over the size of Mr. Orazietti's cranium. However, we can control the size of images that appear on this website. We just checked, and this Orazietti mug shot is 229 pixels wide. That, for the record, is 21 pixels smaller than our standard size for images of this kind.)

Prompted by Sault MPP David Orazietti, the Ontario Legislature will tomorrow consider calling for a review of the Northern Health Travel Grant program.

"It is time to evaluate certain aspects of the [travel grant] in order to ensure the program meets its stated goal to help defray the transportation costs for eligible residents of Northern Ontario who must travel long distances within Ontario or to Manitoba to receive medically needed insured specialty services that are not available locally," Orazietti said today.

Here's Orazietti's private member's resolution, to be debated by the Legislature tomorrow:

That in the opinion of this House, the Legislative Assembly of Ontario should examine the Northern Ontario Health Travel Grant (NHTG) with a focus on reviewing the criteria and improving the services associated with receiving support from the NHTG, as well as enhancing the administration of the NHTG by simplifying its processing formula.
