Cyclist hurt in Bay Street crash (9 photos)

The crash occurred around dusk near Tim Horton's.

A cyclist was taken to Sault Area Hospital in considerable pain Saturday evening after a collision involving a motor vehicle at Bay and Brock Streets.

The cyclist was in too much pain to move, so Sault paramedics stabilized him in the position they found him using a Kendrick Extrication Device (KED), a semi-rigid body-fitting brace that secures the head, neck and torso in an anatomically neutral position.

The accident happened around dusk on Saturday.

Further details were not immediately available.
