Culvert washout closes road north of Thessalon

Ingram Road at Station Road closed until Friday, says municipality

Last night's storm and heavy rain has closed a section of road north of Thessalon.

According to a news release issued today by the Municipality of Huron Shores, a culvert washout occurred on Ingram Road, 1 km east of its intersection with Station Road.

Crews are preparing the site for culvert replacement. The impacted section of road may remain closed until Friday.

Motorists are asked to drive with caution and avoid the area.
