Frost advisory in effect for:
  • Agawa - Lake Superior Park
  • Sault Ste. Marie - St. Joseph Island
  • Searchmont - Montreal River Harbour - Batchawana Bay

Some plants may be damaged or even destroyed by frost.

Clear skies and light winds will allow temperatures overnight to drop to near zero degrees. This will result in the formation of patchy frost overnight.

Cover up plants, especially those in frost-prone areas.

Frost advisories are issued when temperatures are expected to reach the freezing mark during the growing season, leading to potential damage and destruction to plants and crops.

Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada. To report severe weather, send an email to [email protected] or tweet reports using #ONStorm.
