CITY POLICE NEWS RELEASE

The officers recognized Mr. Reedy, who had been drinking, and a check revealed that he had a curfew, and was also not to consume alcohol.

Mr. Reedy went into a backyard to avoid the officers who also followed him there.

As the officers were arresting Mr. Reedy for breaching release orders and probation orders, Mr. Reedy fled from them on foot.

After jumping a fence with officers in pursuit, Mr. Reedy was arrested without incident and taken into custody.

Mr. Reedy will appear in bail court tomorrow and has been charged with one count of trespass by night, one count of escape custody, one count of breach of a release order and two counts of breach of probation.
