NEW TECUMSETHOn July 22, 2015, the Nottawasaga Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Crime Unit were contacted about an alleged fraud involving an employee of the Community Living Association for South Simcoe (C.L.A.S.S.). The investigation involved a senior finance clerk being fraudulent with funds from C.L.A.S.S. and theft of approximately $150,000 dollars. 

On Sept. 9, 2017, members from the Nottawasaga OPP Crime Unit completed their extensive investigation and have arrested and charged 52-year-old Rhonda Bellamy of New Tecumseth with:

  • Fraud over $5,000
  • Theft over $5,000

The accused was released from custody and will attend a future court date at the Ontario Court of Justice in Bradford.
