It’s time for the Second Annual Game On Neighbourhood Party!

Residents of the Community Hub Neighbourhoods in partnership with numerous community partners will once again be hosting the Game On Neighbourhood Street Party on Albion Street (across from Rosedale School) on Thursday, Aug. 17 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Game On is a street party that’s welcomes and encourages all community members to come out and enjoy a BBQ and play a game of basketball, ball hockey or golf. Other children's activities will also be available including face painting, bouncy castles, and arts and crafts.

“We are really looking forward to this year’s Game On Neighbourhood Party! Last year’s event was great and we hope to be even better this year,” says Social Development Coordinator, Melissa Ceglie. “Sponsorship from numerous local businesses and organizations have made this event possible and we are grateful for community generosity.”

Residents and local agencies will once again be celebrating their efforts to promote neighbourhood well-being. Community mobilization builds a better place for us all to work, grow and live.

Ceglie encourages the entire community to join in the fun and celebrate the good work being done.

“Come out and have a good time and experience our local neighbourhoods.” Check out our Facebook event page 'Game On! Neighbourhood Street Party' for a full list of event sponsors and partners as well as other news.
