*********************** Yesterday officers from the Investigation Section of the City Police executed a warrant in the east end of the City.

Officers located a small quantity of narcotics, as well as a mountain bike that had been stolen from the Station Mall in June of this year.

Three persons were arrested at the address, including one youth.

The youth has been charged with one count of possession of a controlled drug or substance, one count of possession of property obtained by crime and one count of breach of probation, by failing to keep the peace and be good.

The youth will appear in court on October 12th.

An 18-year old male at the residence was also charged with one count of possession of stolen property, and one count of possession a narcotic.

He will appear in court on October 18th.

A 23-year old male of the east end address has admitted to breaking into the Kentucky Fried Chicken Restaurant and stealing the safe, as well as stealing the bike from the Station Mall.

This male was also to be found in possession of shotgun shells when on an order not to possess ammunition.

The 23-year old male has been charged with one count of breach of probation, two counts of possession of stolen property, one count of possession of a controlled drug or substance, one count of possession of ammunition contrary to a prohibition order, one count of break and enter and commit an offence, and one count of theft under $5,000.

He will appear in court on October 18th.

The names of the adults are not being released as it could identify the young person.
