Collision knocks out power to downtown, central area

Outage began just before 12:30 p.m.

A power outage in the downtown and central areas of the city that began shortly before 12:30 p.m. today impacted 2,100 customers in the area.

A notice from PUC Services says the outage was caused by a motor vehicle collision.

Service to all but 20 impacted customers has been restored.
