Taking into account the holiday season, please be advised that the session at a time walk-in counselling service offered at the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA), 386 Queen St. E. will be closed for three days on Tuesday, Dec. 25 and 26, 2018 and Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2019.

If you experience a crisis or require immediate support during the holidays, please contact the following services:

  • Sault Area Hospital Crisis Services: Available 24 hours a day (705) 759-3398 or 1 (800) 721-100
  • The Warm Line: Available from 6 p.m. – 12 a.m. 1 (866) 856-9276
  • Kids Help Phone: Available 24 hours a day 1 (800) 668-6868 or text CONNECT to 686868

During the holiday season, the hours at Canadian Mental Health Association and Algoma Family Services will be open as follows:

Dec. 24 - 8:30 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Dec. 25 - Closed
Dec. 26 – Closed
Dec. 27 – 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Dec. 28 – 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Dec. 31 – 8:30 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Jan. 1 – Closed
Jan. 2 – 8:30 a.m. - 8 p.m. (regular hours resume)
