Update: City's most hardcore set up lawn chairs on Second Line. Refuse to leave until 4 p.m.

Catch the Ace is officially no joke

2:10 p.m. update:

It keeps growing and growing. The lineup now stretches down Wellington West, where Catch the Ace hopefuls have taken a right and begun camping out on Estelle.

11:40 a.m. orginal story

SooToday journalists have this morning definitively identified this city's most hardcore citizens.

Hundreds of them have set up lawn chairs along Second Line. Word has it, they refuse to leave until 4 p.m.

That's because someone will have a chance for close to $600,000 tonight if the ace is drawn at the George Wellington Esquire Club's weekly Catch the Ace draw. Tickets go on sale at 4 p.m.

One person told SooToday he has been in line since 4 a.m. He's in for at least a 12-hour wait.

Last we saw, the lineup was getting perilously close to the Rexall.

There are now just four envelopes remaining. Try to remain calm.
