Second, police are seeking information about an early-morning robbery yesterday at the Caswell Motor Inn.

The following is from their Friday-morning news update:

**************************************************************** The Sault Ste. Marie Police Service has received a number of complaints of counterfeit Canadian ten dollar bills surfacing in the city.

The serial numbers appear to be sequential and are of two series with an issue date of 1989.

The detail quality is very poor and the colour is very pale purple.

The public is asked to examine all suspicious bills closely and compare them with others of similar denomination.

If a suspected counterfeit bill is received the public is asked to record as much information as possible about the passer and contact police.
