Antiwar activist Cindy Sheehan was arrested tonight just before U.S. President George Bush began his State of the Union address.

Sheehan was in the House visitor's gallery as a guest of Democratic Representative Lynn Woolsey of California.

Early reports indicated Sheehan was escorted out of the gallery by police who accused her of causing a disruption.

Often referred to as the "Peace Mom," Sheehan made headlines around the world last summer when she camped outside President Bush's Texas ranch.

Her son Casey was killed in action the previous year in Sadr City, Iraq.
