The Child and Youth Care program at Sault College hosts its 23rd annual We All Love Kids family fun day on April 2.

Sault College’s third-year child and youth care students, with the support of many local agencies and individuals, are organizing and hosting the 23rd annual W.A.L.K. (We All Love Kids) family fun day. All proceeds go to the community wellness bus in Sault Ste. Marie.

The community wellness bus focuses on helping people who are in need of medical care, referrals, harm reduction, and basic necessities. On the bus there is a nurse, a peer support worker with lived experience and an onsite social worker.

The free event takes place in the College’s Health and Wellness Centre on Sunday, April 2 from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.

“We encourage our community members to attend this event and have some fun while supporting students and the community wellness bus," says Nadia Grbich, chair of the publicity committee. "We’ve enjoyed planning this event and we are looking forward to welcoming families to our College for an exciting day,”

CYC students have collaborated with various local agencies, whose support is directly linked to the success of this event. The Kiwanis Sault Ste. Marie, Sault College, SportChek, Vintage Games ‘n Junque, Giant Tiger, Earth Elements Apothecary, Cornucopia, Wacky Wings Lake Street have all donated money or goods.
