Celebrate World Religion Day on January 19

World Religion Day includes children’s presentations

SAULT STE. MARIE - The Baha’i community of Sault Ste. Marie will join people from around the globe in celebrating World Religion Day.

This annual event will include prayers, music and stories from many faiths in our community.

The celebration will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, January 19, 2014 at Sault College ~ The Gallery.

“This year we hope to see the children from many of the faith groups sharing pictures, posters and drawings,” says Roya Mogharrabi, one of the event organizers.

World Religion Day is marked on the third Sunday in January annually around the world and in this community has been held for nearly 20 years throughout the city.
