********************* Soup Kitchen Food Drive at this Saturday's Greyhound game

The Soo Greyhounds are pleased to be holding a food drive this coming Saturday, February 4 during their game versus the Toronto St. Michaels Majors.

Volunteers will be stationed at all entrances into the arena and will be accepting donations of non-perishable food items to support our local Soup Kitchen Community Centre.

The Soup Kitchen, located at 172 James Street, provides food services five days a week (Monday through Friday) at 11 a.m. and usually feeds between 100 and 150 people per day.

Everyone is welcome!

Due to the fact they do not receive any core funding from the government, the Soup Kitchen relies solely on donations from within our community and from events such as this.

It is with that in mind that the Greyhounds encourage all fans attending the game to bring a non-perishable food item to help the Soup Kitchen and those within our community.
