The Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry is seeking the public’s help in identifying the individual or individuals responsible for shooting and abandoning four cow moose and a bull moose in an area north to northwest of White River.

Between Sept. 7 and Nov. 1, 2018, conservation officers became aware of five moose shot and abandoned at several locations along the Road 50 loop. Officers located:

  • A bull moose off Road 50, approximately two kilometres from North Reagan Road
  • A cow moose near kilometre nine on Road 100
  • A cow moose 12 kilometres down North Reagan Road, off Highway 17
  • Two cow moose six kilometres down North Reagan Road, off Highway 17.
