************************** City Police are investigating a robbery that took place last night shortly after 8 p.m.

A lone male entered Muio’s Confectionary Store on Queen Street East and demanded cash from the clerk in the store.

The male had a butcher knife in his hand and had concealed his face with a sweater.

The suspect made off with a small-undisclosed amount of money.

The male is described as a being in his mid 20s, 5’10” tall, slim to medium build, had broad shoulders, and was wearing a navy blue v-neck style sweater with baggy white pants.

If you know who is responsible for this robbery, or if you witness the male leaving the area call City Police at 949-6300.
