Bushplane prepares to celebrate Canada 150

Actua's maker Mobile Tour coming to the Canadian Bushplane Heritage Centre!

Entomica and the Bushplane Museum are bringing a nation-wide travelling science program – the Actual Maker Mobile – to SSM on July 5. This is a wonderful Canada’s 150 initiative. The event is only here for a day and open to 180 children for the half-day program. Children can register for morning session 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. or afternoon session 1:30-4:30 p.m. In addition Entomica is bringing bugs and the Bushplane is organizing events, including our new Nature Exchange Program. Registration is $15.00 a child.

The program is geared to children from grade 6-8 but all grades are welcome. Registration  forms are available on line or at the Canadian Bushplane Heritage Centre.

Registration in on a first come basis. 

The Power of Ideas Tour comes to the Bushplane Centre July 17-19, 2017

Get Ready to Question Everything!

The Power of Ideas Tour is travelling across the country as part of the nationwide Innovation 150 celebrations marking Canada's 150th anniversary.

They will be at the Bushplane Centre July 17-19, 2017 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

This fun exhibit is included with your admission.

This Science Exhibition is Brought to you by Perimeter Institute In this inspiring exhibition and presentation youth and families take a fun hands-on approach to engaging in the process of science. From delving into two of the world's largest science experiments to exploring changing ideas about our universe, this immersive experience fosters curiosity and a better understanding of how we investigate our world.
