The Sault Ste. Marie Humane Society has partnered with the Chippewa County Animal Shelter for many years, working with them to rehome pitbulls and pittbull mixes that are banned on our side of the bridge.

Today, pitbull mix Ruby Doo journeyed across international waters, accompanied by Sault animal control officers, to the U.S location. The well-traveled pup will now begin her search for a new home.
