Water interruption in progress

This is a description of an unplanned water interruption(s) that is currently affecting PUC customers in Sault Ste. Marie.

Interruption Date:  March 18, 2018 at 12:10 p.m.
Customers Affected:  Not Available

Cause of Interruption: Broken Water Main - Queen Street East

Water service interruption advisory

At approximately 12:10 p.m. on March 18, 2018, a number of customers in Sault Ste. Marie had their water services interrupted, as a result of a broken water main.

PUC repair crews have been dispatched and have started repairs.

During the repair process traffic flow may be restricted in the affected areas listed below. This traffic restriction is necessary to ensure the safety of repair crews as well as the travelling public.

Description of area involved:

Queen Street East between March Street and Elgin Street will be reduced to a single lane during the repair.
