Brawl at the Canadian leads to drug charge for Josh

City Police officers attended to the Canadian Hotel early this morning regarding two males fighting.

Upon their arrival they located 24-year-old Josh Vanatta of no fixed address lying on the ground in an intoxicated state.

A subsequent search revealed that Vanatta had what appeared to be an amount of cocaine on his person.

As a result he was charged with possession of a controlled substance.

He was also on probation with conditions to keep the peace and be of good behaviour.

Mr. Vanatta will be appearing in Provincial Court on February 24.
