Boomer, SooToday.com's favourite Castor canadensis mascot from Parks Canada, paid a special visit this week to Prince of Wales Adult Education Centre on Second Line West.

He/she (we have insufficent experience with beavers to be certain) presented a one-of-a-kind sweatshirt to Ying Shi, an English-as-a-Second-Language student.

Ying's class came to see the swinging of the Emergency Swing Bridge Dam back on November 3.

She correctly answered two questions about Canada and won a special sweatshirt commemorating the swinging event, which was presernted to her by Boomer at a special ceremony.
